It’s not every day a line-up like this is announced for a show. A Behemoth tour or show of any sort by itself is cause for celebration throughout the metal community, with the Polish lords of extreme metal now back to full strength following Nergal’s battle with Leukemia. With their brand new album, entitled “The Satanist” due to be released early next year through Nuclear Blast Records, Behemoth have decided the time is nigh for a metal expedition across Europe. Nergal is eager for this tour to get started as we can see from his comments below:
“We are immensely proud to start promotion of “The Satanist” on the release date of the album in such a noble company. It’s been a while since we toured Europe for the last time… The wolfpack grew stronger and hungrier and with new opus and stage production we have so much more to offer. This European crusade will be the catalyst of 2 years long tour so keep your eyes open!”
Joining them as very special guests on the tour will be English black metal veterans Cradle Of Filth. Purveyors of dark metal for over two decades, Dani Filth and co will provide a very special main warm up act before Behemoth take to the stage.
On board as opening acts for the tour are three other metal bands who are all experts in their own fields; South American black metallers Inquisition who are coming all the way from Columbia for the tour; Swedish heavy metal veterans In Solitude and their follow Scandanavians, black metal act Svarttjern.
There is only one UK date for the tour, which will take place at the Kentish Town Forum in London on February 10th 2014. This is just one stop on the larger 19 date tour which will cover most of Europe. Tickets for the UK show are priced at £20 plus booking fees.
