An event that promises to be both a sad and joyous time is almost upon us all. Originally announced back in April by Bowling For Soup frontman Jaret Reddick, Bowling For Soup’s final full scale UK tour is now only six days away from getting started! The tour comes just a week and a half after the release of Bowling For Soup’s brand new album Lunch Drunk Love (read our review of Lunch Drunk Love right here).
The tour, which has seen huge demand for tickets resulting in the final night of the tour in London being upgraded from the Kentish Town Forum to the Hammersmith Apollo, begins next Wednesday in the intimate settings of London’s Union Chapel as Jaret and Erik bring the UK one last full blown acoustic show before the full band tour starts in earnest the following night in Southampton and runs for two weeks, finishing up at the aforementioned Hammersmith Apollo for one of Bowling For Soup’s biggest UK headline shows ever. Patent Pending will be the only support band on all shows on this tour apart from the Acoustic show. Bowling For Soup will be playing their longest ever headline sets in the UK, allowing them to play the largest collections of fan favourites and rarities ever heard from BFS perhaps anywhere, ever! Tickets for the tour are available from £20 plus booking fees. Following this last UK tour, Bowling For Soup will head down under for Australia’s touring Soundwave Festival in early 2014 to bid goodbye to their Australian fans. On a brighter note, BFS have promised two new albums in 2014, a covers album and a reworked greatest hits album.
