As already remarked on this website, metalcore, and British metalcore in particular is shaping up for one hell of a year in 2014. Bury Tomorrow have already given their fans a first taste of new material in 2014 and now their fellow Brits Architects are taking their turn to reveal their first piece of new material for the year. As far as songs that make a statement go, Architects have just dropped the proverbial musical bomb, similar to what Bring Me The Horizon did with Shadow Moses at the start of last year. Their new song, entitled Naysayer, finds Architects sounding as angry and powerful as they ever have done throughout their ten years as a band. Naysayer is the first single to come from Architect’s upcoming album Lost Forever // Lost Together, which will be the band’s début on Epitaph Records. Lost Forever // Lost Together will be released on March 10th 2014 in the UK and Europe and one day later on March 11th 2014 in the US. Needless to say, this will have Architects’ fans salivating at the mouth for more.
