It’s video of the week time once again! Last time around, London rockers Bad Solution smashed the competition including half of the big four in Metallica and Megadeth with their video for “Dear Sarah” coming out victorious. Who will win this time? We’ve got six videos (as it’s been a couple of weeks) for you to choose from this time around.
First up this week, Cambridge rockers Mallory Knox are back with a bang with their new single Giving It Up. Having announced their new album Wired will be out early next year, Giving It Up sees Mallory Knox cranking up the heavy with a video that looks at a form of alternate reality. We’re certainly impressed with the song, will you be impressed with the video?
Electro-goth superstar William Control has had a good couple of weeks. His new EP “Revelations Part 1: The Pale EP” has just topped both the dance and heatseeker charts in America, and so to celebrate, Mr Control and his band have released a new video for the track Confess. Exactly the kind of thing one might expect from the former Aiden man, fans are likely to lap it up and be hitting the repeat button over and over.
Germany’s Annisokay are celebrating the release of their new album Devil May Care today, and as a result they’ve launched a brand new single and video as well! Blind Lane comes from their new album Devil May Care, which is the band’s third album and the follow up to previous release Enigmatic Smile. For anyone who likes their metal with some sampling and electronic elements, this may well be one for you!
Australian tech metallers Twelve Foot Ninja don’t like to do things by half, and their new video for “Sick” is less a music video than it is a mini movie, paying homage to 80’s horror and Stranger Things to name but two inspirations. It’s a song you’re not likely to forget in a hurry either. If Twelve Foot Ninja’s mini cinematic masterpiece is your video of the week – then get voting!
Having recently been on these shores supporting their compatriots Nickelback, Canadian rockers Monster Truck have a great new animated video for their track “For The People”. They’ve also announced plans to return to these shores early next year, but in the meantime the For The People video should keep the viewers and listeners entertained. Are Monster Truck your pick of the week? If so, you know what to do.
Last but not least for this week, Bristol hard rock outfit The Vigil are up for nomination with their single and video All You’ve Done. Currently on the road with German rockers Unzucht, The Vigil’s new album Save Our Souls will be out in a couple of weeks and All You’ve Done is an interesting taster of what is to come!
Voting closes at 12pm Thursday the 17th of November (UK time). Who will win? Only you, the readers, can decide.
