Some terribly sad breaking news that has reached us in the last few minutes, Chris Cornell, frontman of Soundgarden and former frontman of Audioslave, passed away last night, just hours after performing with Soundgarden in Detroit.
Cornell, 52, had been performing at The Fox Theatre and by early accounts had been OK at the show. A representative for Chris Cornell and his family has called the death “sudden and unexplained”, according to Sky News. He leaves behind a wife and two children, as well as another child from his first marriage.
