Our first video of the week contest for 2019 brought one of the most hotly contest battles we’ve had in some time, but in the end a winner was crowned. UK metallic hardcore outfit Ithaca went toe-to-toe with US metal outfit IMonolith (who if you aren’t familiar with, are a supergroup with members of The Devin Townsend Project, Threat Signal and Strapping Young Lad amongst them). In the end, the dose of hardcore flavoured with confetti (watch the video to see what we mean) that was Impulse Crush just came out on top, meaning Ithaca are our first video of the week winners for 2019!

Impulse Crush is taken from Ithaca’s new album The Language Of Injury is released this Friday (1st February 2019) through the mighty Holy Roar Records. They will celebrate the release of the album on the 1st of February with a free release day show at London’s Old Blue Last. Tickets will be limited, so for those interested, head to the event page on Facebook for all the details.
