Trivium have returned! Having released a few b-sides and off cuts from their last album, The Sin And The Sentence, over the last year or so on streaming platforms, they are back with their first truly new music in almost three years.
The brand new single, Catastrophist, will be the first song from the band’s ninth studio album, What The Dead Men Say. Given that we are all huge Trivium fans here at Rock Sins, we’re not going to waffle on any further: watch the video for Catastrophist below right here:
The new album sees Matt, Corey, Paolo and Alex continue their fifteen year partnership with Roadrunner Records. What The Dead Men Say will be released on the 24th of April 2020. Here’s frontman Matt Heafy on their new album:
What The Dead Men Say is everything that is Trivium. On this album, one can hear the proper ingredients of past, present, and future Trivium. The Trivium sound is having everything the band does — on one album.
What The Dead Men Say is available to pre-order and pre-save from a variety of locations right now. Trivium will spend much of the Summer and Autumn of 2020 touring the US in support of their new album alongside fellow metal favourites Megadeth, Lamb of God and In Flames. Full dates are available on Trivium’s website and social media platforms.
Trivium’s last UK live appearance was their phenomenal showing on the Download Festival main stage last June. Check out Rock Sins review of the day, including of Trivium’s performance. Stay tuned for much more about the new album over the next couple of months!
