Following on from their top 5 album, Sex, Death and The Infinite Void, Creeper are back. Releasing their new EP American Noir on July 30th, the band have got us ready for more with new single Midnight.

This new offering represents an epilogue to the narrative told in their critically acclaimed previous album release, and will be released almost a year to the day from the albums anniversary.

Listen to Midnight below:

Talking about the EP, frontman Will Gould explained, “This new EP is comprised of material we’d written over the course of the last album. Lavish and tragic, it tells the story of the days following the death of our protagonist Roe. Beginning with ‘Midnight’ you’ll find Hannah and I experimenting with our voices together like never before.”

Midnight acts as a hugely strong introduction to the new EP and upping the stakes, giving a cinematic piano melody and boasting a fiery intensity that the band have become renowned for.

You can pre-order the EP now, which will be released on both digital and physical formats, with the choice of a standard single-sided screen-printed vinyl or two additional limited addition variants only available from Creeper’s official store. There are also limited edition vinyls and two limited edition cassettes also on offer.

Ahead of the release, Creeper will also be playing a set for the There Is Light Series, streaming exclusively on Twitch 8pm BST on July 25th. With the return of gigs and festivals, you’ll also be able to catch the band at Reading and Leeds Festival in August before they head out on their own major UK tour in Decembver. This will be the first headline tour since the release of Sex, Death and The Infinite Void and the first appearance since their “final” show at KOKO in 2018.
