Every time we turn around at the moment there is a brand new festival announcement. We are playing catch up with our friends at Slam Dunk! They have unveiled their first announcement for 2027, and they have come out firing! The initial announcement contains dozens of bands, including several of the headliners and main acts.
On the pop punk / ska stage, things will headlined by our friends and yours Bowling For Soup! The Texas pop punk legends have recently headlined Wembley Arena, and sold out Castles and outdoor theatres across the UK. Now their latest return to these shores sees them headline Slam Dunk Festival 2027. Joining them (possibly as co-headliners? The poster isn’t totally clear) are their great friends Simple Plan! The Canadian outfit have been selling out enormous venues in the US alongside BFS for the last couple of years. Now that double act is returning to the UK, last seen together here just before COVID in February 2020. Other significant names on that stage include Less Than Jake, The Interrupters and the return of Reel Big Fish (!!!).
On the heavy / metalcore stage, things will be headlined by the equally legendary Killswitch Engage. Making their Slam Dunk Festival debut, KSE are beloved across the UK and this is a great new “first” for them. Adam D’s sense of humour feels like it will fit well at Slam Dunk. Others on board on this stage include Beartooth, Melrose Avenue and From Ashes To New.
Elsewhere, you have the likes of Sleeping With Sirens, The Used, We The Kings, As December Falls, Redhook, Four Year Strong, The Front Bottoms, Knuckle Puck and Cute Is What We Aim For. And that’s not even all the bands! The full first line up can be seen on the poster below:
Tickets for Slam Dunk Festival 2027 are available now from the official festival website. This includes the deposit scheme, which allows payments over several months.
