Fozzy Announce Spring 2013 UK / European Tour with Drowning Pool, Revoker

Having recently completed a virtually sold out run of shows in their second home of the UK with their good friends Soil and Breed 77 back in December, friends of Rocksins and huge rock stars Fozzy are returning to England for a new huge set of live dates.

It seems that the co-headline setup with Soil worked very well for the band last time around (read our review of when Fozzy and Soil hit London here), because they’ve decided to set up a similar bill this time. This time however, Fozzy’s partners and co-headliners for the tour will be none other than Drowning Pool, best known for their nu metal mega anthem Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Also on board for the tour are UK metal band Revoker, who’ve toured extensively in the last couple of years and even opened for the mighty Ozzy Osbourne.

As usual, Fozzy’s enigmatic frontman Chris Jericho isn’t short of a word or three, and he had this to say about Fozzy’s forthcoming UK tour:

“After our highly successful co-headlining European tour with Soil last winter, we decided we couldn’t wait until August to come back. So we started looking for that special band that we could join forces with to have an even more successful tour… Drowning Pool is that band! Now we can’t wait to tear the heads off of both our fans and theirs and create a giant pool of Drowning FOZZY lunatics! See you soon!”
