Creeper headline the second stage at the Download Pilot Festival tomorrow night (19th June 2021)
Regular readers of Rock Sins will know we can’t get enough of Creeper. The recent announcement of their upcoming new EP American Noir got the Creeper hype train fully going again (not that it ever really dies down). It’s firmly back into high gear with the video for their recently released, brilliant single Midnight. A typically wonderful theatrical creation, you can watch Will, Hannah and the others shift through various light and dark settings in the video for Midnight below:
Frontman Will Ghould explains how the Midnight video continues the narrative from the videos of their previous (Top 5 charting) album, Sex, Death and the Infinite Void:
“The video for ‘Midnight’ welcomes our audience back into the world of Calvary Falls one final time to bear witness to the death of Roe. Olli Appleyard has created a visual as lavish and tragic as the music itself, we are so excited to share it with the world.”
American Noir will be released on the 30th of July on Roadrunner Records. Creeper return to the world of live performances by headlining the tent second stage at the Download Pilot Festival tomorrow (19th of June). For those who’d like a full playlist of bands playing the Download Pilot (including Creeper, who kick off the playlist, that can be found on this link). COVID permitting, they’ll also be appearing at Reading and Leeds in late August, with their headline tour to follow at the end of the year.
Stay tuned for coverage of Creeper’s performance at the Download Pilot, and lots more in the weeks to come.
