For heavy metal fans around the world, there has been no hotter ticket this year than Black Sabbaths final gig. Scheduled to take place at Birminghams Villa Park stadium in little under a months time on July 5th. The bands Back To The Beginning show had hundreds of thousands of eager fans fighting for tickets when it was announced in February. With tickets selling out in mere minutes thanks to a line-up that reads like a who’s who of heavy music.
With Black Sabbath reunited in their original line-up for the first time in decades. A solo performance from the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy himself. As well Metallica, Guns ‘N’ Roses, Slayer, Pantera, Tool, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice in Chains, Lamb of God, Anthrax and Mastodon to name but a few of the iconic artists on the bill. The word monumental doesn’t even begin to describe the roster of the now sold out show.
For those that didn’t find themselves among the lucky few to secure a ticket however. There is now thankfully another way to experience the historic event from the comfort of your living room. As Black Sabbath have announced this week that the event will be livestreamed worldwide. Thanks to a partnership with Mercury Studios, the brains behind Metallica Saved My Life. Who have teamed up with record breaking global streaming service provider Kiswe. Promising to bring every moment of the monumental event to fans around the world. Offering a front row seat to Ozzy and Black Sabbaths once-in-a-lifetime farewell.

Fans looking to stream the auspicious event will have access to a raw livestream. Which will begin at 3pm local time on a two hour delay. Followed by repeats of the earth shattering show for a further 48 hours after the concert ends. Allowing them to relive every epic moment again and again. We would not be at all surprised if Sabbaths heavy metal family reunion manages to shatter the world record set by Kiswe themselves either. When they streamed BTS’s virtual concert to 756,000 fans in over a hundred different countries back in 2020!
When asked about the new plan to stream Back To The Beginning, Sharon Osbourne said: “We had such an overwhelming demand from fans from around the globe, who couldn’t get tickets to the show, and they took to social media, pleading with us to broadcast a livestream of the show. Being this is such a historic event, we just couldn’t let them down.”
Kelly Sweeney, Managing Director of Mercury Studio’s also added: “Mercury Studios are incredibly proud to be involved in capturing this monumental milestone at Villa Park. ‘Back To The Beginning’ will be an unforgettable experience, and our aim is to deliver this moment to fans worldwide, wherever they are, so they don’t miss out on seeing music history being made.”
Tickets and an exclusive collectors package for the livestream featuring a unique event t-shirt are available to order now. With prices starting at just £24.99, making it an absolute bargain.
