Undisputed maestro of the macabre, Alice Cooper is back. Reunited in the studio with the Alice Cooper Group’s iconic original line-up for the first time in over five decades. The shock rock legend released the second new single from the bands forthcoming album, The Revenge of Alice Cooper, earlier this week. Entitled Wild Ones, the single is inspired by Marlon Brando’s 1953 movie, The Wild One. Raising the same middle finger of defiance and rebellion that once shocked Americans from the silver screen. With snarling guitars instead of horsepower and Alice’s trademark vocals replacing the roar of Harley Davidsons.
Wild Ones is available to stream now, or you can check out the bands full length music video below. Which shows the Alice Cooper Band back in the studio together again after fifty years apart. With the original line-up of Cooper himself, guitarist Michael Bruce, Dennis Dunaway on bass and Neal Smith back behind the drum kit. Picking up right where they left off when they first captured the attention of audiences back in the bands earlier days.
The reformed groups forthcoming album, The Revenge of Alice Cooper promises to capture the same energy and spirit of rock and roll rebellion that left middle America reeling in the 1970’s. Featuring a post-humous appearance from Alice’s original right hand man, lead guitarist Glen Buxton, who passed away in 1997. Through the seamless use of a long lost studio recording on What Happened To You. A track that promises to blend both the past and present. Paying homage to the dearly missed six string wizard who left a stamp on all of Cooper’s early work.
Alongside a raft of new material, the group have also unearthed two vintage bonus tracks that bridge the gap between old and new even further. Including a forgotten version of Return of The Spiders, along with Titanic Overundeture which blends original recordings with new parts. All captured and remixed with Producer Bob Ezrin’s help.
Scheduled for release on all digital platforms. As well as on a variety of physical formats on July 25th 2025 via earMUSIC. The Revenge of Alice Cooper is available to pre-order now.
