With fans the world over and having been producing their own brand of ground breaking psychedelic ambient metal for two decades now, Japanese legendary trio Boris are packing their gear and heading to Europe for a set of shows in the run up to Christmas 2012.
The tour will see Boris spend the bulk of their time in the UK, including an appearance at the All Tomorrow’s Parties festival but also visiting mainland Europe. The highlight of the mainland shows will arguably be their appearance at the Dutch State-X New Forms Festival in The Hague. The UK tour also contains a show at London’s Scala, where some of Boris’s peers such as Pelican and Red Sparowes have performed memorable shows in recent years. Full details of the tour are below:

Boris are also releasing a 7″ split with their Sargent House label mates Asobi Seksu as a record store day exclusive on “Black Friday, November 23, 2012”. On the split each band will be covering a song by the other band, and it sees Asobi Seksu take on Boris’s track “Farewell” while Boris turn their hand to Asobi Seksu’s song “New Years”.
