After yesterday’s excellent news that a new Dream Theater album is forthcoming in September 2013 (view the announcement here), that gave us ideal inspiration for our Download Festival video of the day.
Going back in time to the awesome year that was 2009, one of the very best Download Festivals, the sunny Sunday afternoon saw Dream Theater take to the main stage just under the classic rock trio of Def Leppard, Whitesnake and ZZ Top. As fans well know, it’s hard to fit many Dream Theater songs into a 45 minute set and on this occasion they only fit five in, but we’ve got a treat for you – you can watch all five!
