The south coast’s finest alternative event, Takedown Festival, have today confirmed the stages and performance slots for all the bands appearing at the event this year. Having recently finalised their line up with the additions of the likes of former Reuben front man Jamie Lenman to top up an already impressive bill headed by Welsh alt-rockers Funeral For A Friend on the main Jagermeister stage and NWOAHM veterans Chimaira on the Uprawr “metal” stage, the organisers at Takedown have now published the stage splits and the time slots for all bands. In addition to this, the good people at Uprawr are hosting a Takedown after party, which you can have access to if you’re 18 or older.
The organisers must stress that all indoor stages are subject to limited capacity and attendance to all performances is not guaranteed so turn up early to avoid missing out on your favourite bands. Ticket holders can go to the wristband exchange to collect wristbands from midday. The doors will open at approximately 1:30pm with an approximate 11pm finish for the main event (early hours for the after party).
Tickets for Takedown Festival 2014 are priced at ONLY £30, or £34 if you want a pass to the Uprawr after party as well. Quite frankly, we consider that an enormous bargain, and think there’s no excuse for not snapping tickets up as quickly as possible!
You can get your tickets at https://takedown.vticket.co.uk/event.php?xProd=4&xRunningID=3. Further updates and news on Takedown will be reported closer to the event. Stay tuned to Rock Sins for all the latest in rock and metal festival announcements across the UK and occasionally beyond!
