After what will be a three year absence by the time they take to the stage again, German power metal favourites Blind Guardian have announced a tour for Spring 2015 that will include a stop off in London at The Kentish Town Forum. The show will take place on the 12th of April 2015. The band have been hard at work on their upcoming album and are now putting the first plans in motion for the next album’s touring cycle.
Blind Guardian’s singer Hansi Kürsch explains their long absence from the live stage:
“The last time we were on stage was at ‘Rock Harz Festival’ 2012. After that we had to take a pause from touring in order to work on our ninth studio album. Now that the production is almost done, we are really eager to go on tour again and to introduce the new songs live and to celebrate the old hits with the fans in 2015.”
