Telltale – Rude Records Sign-Up, Re-Issue’s & Releases

Richmond’s renowned alternative pop-punk band, Telltale have become a part of the Rude Records family. In celebration they have announced a re-issue of their catalogue, including the extended-play of Good Intentions, as well as their new and up-coming hit single, Atlas.

The wait is almost over for fans as Telltale hints at the prospect of new music on the horizon and expected to surface later this year. Keep your ears to the ground and stay tuned, it will be one you won’t want to miss.

Telltale have made their first statement after becoming part of the new label, “our goal is to re-capture the essence of where this band started, the teenage roots/angst that birthed our sound and brand.”

In reflection to their comment, they’ve delivered, because you’ll certainly be tapping your foot to the likes of Good Intentions tracks, Floodwall and Bayview. The band’s punk roots are really emphasised in their EP and the track 451 is a prime example, especially in the guitar and drum solos.

A personal favourite for me is Empty Promises. I find their balance of vocals, drums and bass is evident in this song.

The band say “we’re just some normal guys writing basement tunes. Get on board and become part of this small community of individuals who care about their generation’s health and well-being.”
