Sertraline, the Northern UK rising progressive tech metal band, have recently announced the imminent departure of their frontwoman Lizzie Parry. Having been frontwoman for Sertraline for 7 years, Lizzie recently announced in a video message on the bands’ socials and on YouTube that she was moving on. There are no bad feelings, and the split is as amicable as these things can be. The video can be seen here:
Before Lizzie leaves Sertraline, the band are embarking on their first UK tour since the COVID pandemic. Beginning today in Birmingham, The tour runs until the weekend and goes across the North of England and Scotland. Support on the tour is provided by Dreameater, with local supports at each date. Sertraline’s most recent release is their 2020 EP Clouded Minds & Silver Lines (the Rock Sins review of the EP is available to read on this link). Their most recent single, 2205, is taken from that EP, and was released as a tribute to the Manchester Arena bombing victims. Sertraline frontwoman Lizzie Parry was present at Manchester Arena on the night of the attack.
