Instrumental innovators Polyphia made a welcome return at Download Festival last weekend. However, not with a dazzling display of guitar gymastics on the main stage. It was a much more subtle and subliminal effort. With the band instead choosing to tease us with clips from their first single in four years, Can You Feel It. Which was pumping through the PA between acts for most of the weekend.
As we’ve come to expect from the troupe of six string virtuosos. Their latest track; which you can check out below, is a heady mix of funky grooves, shred wizardy and hip-hop influences. Executed with the kind of pinpoint precision that has elevated Tim Henson & Co from underground sensations to household names.
While speculation runs wild about what this might mean regarding the bands inevitable fifth studio album, Polyphia have wasted no time in announcing UK tour. Set to kick off at the o2 Academy in Birmingham on December 11th, featuring support from Pertubator and RJ Pasin. The bands MMXXVI Tour will also include dates in Manchester and Leeds before coming to an end in London at the o2 Brixton Academy on December 16th.

Tickets for all UK & EU tour dates, including VIP packages are on sale now. For more information on Polyphia you can head over to the bands official website. Or, follow them on social media to stay up to date on any forthcoming announcements.
