Finnish modern metallers Blind Channel have returned, and they are dropping all of the news at once! After what the band are referring to as “a year and a half of deliberate silence”, Blind Channel are ready to set the wheels in motion once again with their new album Painstream, which is set for release on October 30th through Century Media Records.
Having not released any new music since March 1st 2024, the band describe Painstream as twelve tracks examining pain from different angles, including giving cause for self-reflection. We will hand over to Blind Channel themselves to explain more:
In a world filled with uncertainty, conflict and division, pain is one thing all humans share. Rather than separating us, Painstream explores the idea that pain can unite us, reminding us of our common humanity. We examine pain from personal, societal and existential perspectives, while also uncovering something unexpected: hope.

Blind Channel will be hitting the road in early 2027 for a huge EU and UK tour. Before that, there will be a hometown show in Helsinki on the 14th of November 2026, as well as a pair of Japanese dates in Tokyo and Osaka a few days later.
The UK part of the tour runs from the 25th of February 2027 until the 3rd of March and includes six dates in Bristol, Wolverhampton, Nottingham, Glasgow, Manchester and London. The full list of shows is available below:
