Pontin’s will be alive with the sounds of thrash and power metal as the newest bands to be added to the bill for the fourth instalment of Hammerfest are led by Huddersfield’s own thrash titans Evile and Swedish perpetrators of power metal Dream Evil.
Patrons of Hammerfest IV will also be able to sample the musical delights of Senser, Avenger, Cambridge’s own AR, Snakebite, Oaf, Slam Cartel, Severenth, Collapse, Red Mist and rounding off the latest batch of bands are Cerebral Bore.
These bands join an already mighty collection of metal bands on the bill for Hammerfest IV including headliners Skindred and Anthrax (and that’s just for starters), Chimaira, Amon Amarth, Paradise Lost (who can also be seen at Bloodstock 2012), Hell, Exodus and plenty of others too.
The Welsh festival has arguably never had it so good so snap up your tickets, rooms and chalet while they are still available. Hammerfest IV will be held on the 15th-18th of March 2012 in its usual venue of Prestatyn, North Wales at Pontin’s holiday camp.
