People On Vacation, the alt-rock duo comprised of Jaret Reddick (best known as Bowling For Soups’ entertaining frontman) and Ryan Hamilton (singer of Smile Smile) will tonight (22nd of May 2013) play a benefit show on StageIt with the express money of raising money to help the victims and families involved in the Oklahoma Tornado disaster that occured over the weekend. Jaret and Ryan will be joined by their good friend and longtime collaborator Linus Of Hollywood for the performance.
All money raised will go to the Oklahoma Red Cross and their efforts to help the victims and their families. The show takes place at 8pm CST (which is 2am on the 23rd of May for the People On Vacation UK hardcore fans who want to set their alarms and wake up for it). The show is a “pay what you can afford” show with a suggested donation of 30 credits (equivalent – $3 or roughly £2) – but with this being such a good cause needing immediate help, we would hope the suggested donation is the minimum anyone would pay.
