Five Finger Death Punch are a band on the up and up all over the world. Having drawn one of the biggest crowds of the day on their performance at the 2013 Download Festival (review available here), and having co-headlined the US Mayhem touring festival with the legendary Rob Zombie, last week saw the release of their fourth studio album The Wrong Side Of Heaven & The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 1.

A sign of the bands’ ever growing popularity in the UK is shown by just how well it has performed in the charts. The Wrong Side Of Hell Volume 1 missed the top 20 by the skin of it’s teeth, but still clocked in at an impressive number twenty one on the UK top 40 album charts, continuing the trend of metal albums doing very well in the UK charts in 2013. Further UK success was also had with The Wrong Side Of Heaven Volume 1 sitting atop the UK rock album charts. 5FDP are also expected to do very well in the US album charts, with their previous release American Capitalist hitting the Top 5 of the US Billboard 200 chart.

Rocksins earlier today published an interview with Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Jason Hook from when we caught up with him backstage after the band had performed at Download 2013. For anyone who would like to read the interview, the link is below:
