Trivium’s Announce 2014 UK Co-Headline Tour with Killswitch Engage & Release Vengeance Falls Today!

Trivium on stage at Defenders Of The Faith III at Brixton Academy

The wait for Trivium’s large, hardcore UK fanbase is over! More than two years after In Waves hit Mp3 and CD collections Matt, Paolo, Corey and Nick have returned with Trivium’s sixth full length album Vengeance Falls. The album, released through Trivium’s long time record label Roadrunner Records is available at HMV and Amazon (get the special edition at Amazon here) and from iTunes now (amongst other places).

However, and it’s a big however, the release of Vengeance Falls isn’t the only big piece of news to come out of the Trivium world today. Announced just this morning is the news that Trivium’s first appearance in the UK on the Vengeance Falls touring cycle will be a massive co-headline tour with none other than Roadrunner label mates and NWOAHM favourites Killswitch Engage! Having triumphantly reformed with original singer Jesse Leach at the beginning of this year, Killswitch Engage had a very successful UK comeback tour with Sylosis in May (read our review of the London show here). Now Killswitch will return alongside their metal brothers in Trivium for one of the UK’s best co-headline tours of recent memory at the beginning of 2014!

Trivium’s main man Matt Heafy cannot wait for the tour judging by this feedback from him:

“There is no question that Killswitch Engage is one of the most influential bands of the last decade. It is an honour to be able to tour with one of our personal favourite bands across one of my favourite places on Earth: the U.K!”

Killswitch guitarist Joel is similarly enthusiastic about the prospect of touring the UK with Trivium:

“We’re all very excited for the upcoming tour with Trivium! The UK has been a favourite place to play for both bands over the years, so joining forces should make for some great shows! Very psyched!”
