The Devin Townsend Project will visit Bournemouth for a warm-up show ahead of the highly-anticipated “The Return of Ziltoid” spectacular at Royal Albert Hall in April. The gig will take place on Saturday 11th April at O2 Academy.
The metal maestro made a solo acoustic appearance in the town in summer 2012 and it will be his first visit with a full band show. No support acts will be playing but the show will include two DTP sets, one based on the tales of coffee-swilling alien Ziltoid and second one of favourites from Devin’s back catalogue, as voted for by fans.
Tickets for the London event sold out in under two days last year but now there are a very small number available at the venue website HERE.
DTP are also set to play three UK shows in March as part of a wider European tour with American prog metallers Periphery and Shining, who hail from Norway, joining in.
