Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed & In Flames Team Up For Enormous 2017 UK Arena Tour

Avenged Sevenfold haven’t been seen in the UK since their critic defying, jaw droppingly good headline performance at the 2014 Download Festival. So the news of their return to the UK in January 2017 for their biggest arena tour to date will be cause for celebration for an awful lot of people. The tour hits eight arenas across England, Scotland and Wales, beginning on the 10th of January in Glasgow and culminating in an enormous show at London’s O2 Arena on the 21st.

As with their last arena tour, which saw fellow US metal outfit Five Finger Death Punch come along for the ride, Avenged Sevenfold are bringing some heavyweight support with them. US nu-metal / arena rock favourites Disturbed are on board this time around to step into FFDP’s shoes, having re-emerged into the UK mainstream consciousness earlier this Summer with their cover of The Sound of Silence. Opening the shows will be Swedish metal legends In Flames, marking the first time the band has played UK arenas in nearly fifteen years, having supported Slipknot on their Iowa UK arena tour. A full rundown of the dates can be found below:

Avenged Sevenfold have spent the bulk of the year working on new music, though no details of a new album are yet confirmed. As soon as we have that or any other news we’ll bring it to our readers right here.
