It’s time for some more bands for the 2018 Bloodstock Open Air Festival! The BOA team have done a great job building the line up so far and they are showing no signs of slowing down with the latest additions.
First up this time out are fearsome extreme metal supergroup Bloodbath who will lay waste to the main Ronnie James Dio stage on Friday alongside the already announced Emperor and Judas Priest. It will be Bloodbath’s first appearance at BOA since 2010.
Also returning to Bloodstock for a Sunday main stage slot are Fozzy. The “huge rock stars” are currently enjoying some of their best success to date off the back of new album Judas (featuring that HUGE title track) and are delighted to be returning to Bloodstock for the second time in 2018. Greek death metallers Septicflesh, who will be another welcome returning act, are also hitting the main stage, but on Saturday.
Lastly for this announcement, Friday night’s Sophie Stage headliner has been revealed as none other than the Queen of Metal herself, Doro Pesch. A dose of metal royalty to add to what is a bill already full of legends and brilliant contemporary metal bands.
Tickets for Bloodstock remain on early bird prices with very limited quantities remaining. As soon as they are gone, the price WILL go up so grab your tickets right now!
More news from the BOA team will be coming before Christmas so keep your eyes and ears open for another line up announcement before then.
