Following on from Scottish thrash metal outfit Disposable taking home the winners medal last time out, we’ve got five more videos for you all to vote on this time.
First up this week are UK tech metal royalty SikTh. Ahead of their impending UK tour which you can find them playing across the country in early December, they’ve released a very visually impressive video for new single The Aura. It’s everything one might expect from one of the UK’s most prized and creative metal collectives, and provides a tasty appetiser for the tour!
Next up, Yorkshire rockers As Sirens Fall have recruited none other than Skindred frontman Benji Webbe to add his unique vocal skills to In My Mind. The video has been described as a “British Danger Days”, with an oppressive regime, an underground uprising, a helicopter and Benji conducting things just a few of the sights of the video. Oh, and the song is a major earworm. Take the power back indeed.
UK extreme prog metal outfit Conjurer are next up this week, with the dark and foreboding video for The Mire. The video features many scenes that wouldn’t be out of place in a horror film, and the song is a great introduction to the band’s new album, which is due next year.
The next entry this week comes from US metalcore favourites We Came As Romans with their latest offering Wasted Age. The video features WCAR on stage having a very good time performing their new single, as were the crowd watching them as they were going suitably batshit. Wasted Age is taken from WCAR’s brand new album Cold Like War, so if you have enjoyed Wasted Age, check out the rest of the album, and don’t forget to vote here as well!
Lastly for this week, Drones new single Rorschach sees the band taking a critical eye over the media (as one might well be inclined to do these days). It’s the first new music from their upcoming album Exile, and suggests promising things are to come from the London quintet as we head into 2018.
