Ahead of this year’s sold out Reading and Leeds Festival at Richfield Avenue and Branham Park, 27-29th August, we want to make sure it’s one to remember, so when it comes to the must-see bands, we’ve got you covered!
Rock Sins photographer Stu Garneys shares the top 8 rock and alternative bands he’s looking forward to seeing and you should too!
1. Fever 333
Without doubt my pick of the festival. So much energy and so much fun to watch. You can’t help but jump into that pit. They have so much meaning behind their lyrics and such powerful messages. DONT MISS!
2. Spiritbox
There’s a massive reason why you’re suddenly seeing this band everywhere. They’ve not actually been around all that long but in the last year have been making some serious waves. Go see them – you won’t regret it.
3. Wolf Alice
Mercury Prize winners 2018 and nominated for this year’s award too, Wolf Alice are a band not to be missed and a massive reason why they are so high up on the main stage.
4.Biffy Clyro
Always consistently billiant.
5. Wargasm
These guys were awesome at the Download Festival Pilot. Great live show – mark them in your diary as a MUST SEE.
6.Post Malone
He brought a lot of fun and energy to the stage last time he performed at Reading and Leeds.
7. Ho9909
This hiphop/punk rock band bring a very dynamic and energetic live show. They will literally blow you away.
8.Yungblud
He’s making ALOT of noise right now. There is a big reason why he’s playing Ally Pally a few days after the festival.
