Off the back of a string of summer shows, Twin Atlantic are back with their latest track Stuck In A Car With You and subsequent tour announcement.
The single is the Glasgow-born band’s first taste of music to be released from their new music label Staple Diet, and features everything that has made them great since their conception in 2006.
Discussing the new single, band member Sam McTrusty explained: “It’s a song about the little things in life that can pass you by… It’s easy to get wrapped up in life without acknowledging how important they are to you until you’re forced to imagine living without them.”
Listen to Stuck In A Car With You below:
The song itself is a joyous, guitar driven pop rock track that prove Twin Atlantic is back bigger and better than ever. The vocals are impeccable, with McTrusty’s signature Scottish twang and raw, emotionally evoking lyrics that will inevitably leave fans clamouring for more.
And by incorporating the musical talents of Romesh Dodangoda, (Bring Me The Horizon, Nova Twins) a name all too familiar to fans of the band’s first EP A Guidance From Colour, the single signals a new era for the Scottish artists as they begin work on new music and embark on a run of very intimate shows throughout the UK this winter.
