As we get closer to one of our favorite festivals of the year, we can now get more excited with over 35 new acts added to the schedule. Each year 2000trees never fails to deliver on a weekend packed to the brim of the best established and upcoming acts and this year is no different.
Joining the highly anticipated ‘Best Medium Festival’ and returning for a second year in a row, Hot Milk have been announced to Headline the ever popular Wednesday night. Talking on the slot, Han Mee shared
Last year we headlined and it went off, it felt so special. We wanted to come back and do it again. Wednesday night, you are ours and we are yours. Let’s be fuckin havin ya.”
Also firm favorites and frequenters of the festival Scotland’s Twin Atlantic will be back to deliver their 2nd stage headliner set. Hot off the back of their recent self released album, ‘Meltdown’ you can look forward to massive alt-rock offerings which will be sure to tear down the Axiom.
“We are so proud of our relationship with 2000Trees having played so many times over the years. Getting to watch the festival evolve and grow into something that truly connects with rock and alternative music fans in a way that gives them a sense of ownership of the festival is brilliant. We always feel like because of that, we give it a bit extra when we play there and can’t wait to get back on site and smash it with the ever-growing community this summer.” Sam McTrusty from Twin Atlantic
Also announced for 2025, Puppy will be making their return and 2000trees will mark their first show of the year, as well as being an incredible festival exclusive.
“We are very excited to be back playing 2000Trees. This was the first UK festival we played as a band and they’ve been kind (or stupid) enough to have put us on many times since. This will be our first festival appearance since 2022 when we were touring our last album Pure Evil. Hopefully we still remember how to play the songs. Fingers crossed.” says Jock Norton of the band.
If that excitement wasn’t enough, long-time legend and festival friend Frank Turner will return to the festival to perform a solo set of his critically acclaimed second album “Love Ire & Song” in full on the Friday Night in the Forest. A magical setting for a magical musician to cement his legacy with 2000trees.
“Trees has been a home away from home for me since the early days, so I thought we could celebrate that together with a rendition of Love Ire & Song in full on the Forest Stage. I think it’s going to be magic; see you there.” shared Frank Turner
If these few highlights weren’t enough, other acts now announced include Australian punk band, Press Club (Another festival exclusive!) La Dispute to perform a special second set in the forest, The Hunna, Karen Dió, Mclusky, and Australian Solo act Hevenshe (Jenna of Tonight Alive performing her first ever UK Solo show!)
