British metal outfit Thrones just took the crown for last weeks’ video of the contest by the length of a fret from Cardinal Bay. But that was last week’s competition, and once again now there are another five bands ready to do battle in this weeks vote.
First up are pop punk royalty All Time Low. They surprised everyone by releasing a video for Missing You, one which has done a very good job of melting the hearts of their fans and sentimental individuals the world over. Is Missing You your choice for video of the week?
Heirs to the goth rock throne, Ashestoangels are on their way to claiming the throne vacated by the recently departed Aiden. With their brand new album How To Bleed about to land, their video for new single Not In My Name sees the band in fine form, albeit maybe more yellow than theyve ever been seen before.
Extreme metal masters favoured by the masses Behemoth are also up for this weeks video of the week. Renown for their visually overwhelming masterful videos, this time around the clip for Ben Sahar takes things to a slightly more abstract level with a wandering, vagrant Nergal wandering the desert.
Southampton metalcore collective Deference are also on the radar for this weeks’ contest, with the video for their track Endure. This video marks the last for the band with current guitarist / singer Dave – so Deference are hoping to use the video to aid their search for a new frontman! Think you could fill his shoes? Then contact Deference on Twitter at @deferencemusic.
Last but not least, rapidly rising Scottish rockers Vukovi have been whipping up a storm live recently with Fearless Vampire Killers and Miss Vincent to name but two. Their new video and single for Animal is likely to see them continue their rise to the top and is our last choice for video of the week this time around.
Who will win? Over to our readers – get voting! Voting closes at 10pm on Tuesday the 12th of April.
