Video Of The Week (25th May) – Farewell, My Love, Veridian, Hacktivist, 100 Years and Purson

Rock Sins Video Of The Week

Last time out Heel won a titanic battle with Moments Till Fall to just claim the video of the week “trophy”. This time around we’re back to our usual quota of five bands vying to win this weeks’ award, so let’s get on with it!

First up this time are Arizona rockers Farewell, My Love. Their new single “Crazy” is a bit of a catchy one (understatement of the week) and the video sees them take in a funfair with a difference (one that looks like it was made by Slipknot). We invite you to join the craziness!

They are joined by Reading sextet Veridian, who could have a huge hit on their hands with the anthemic “One Day”. The video sees Veridian getting back to nature, and we think this is a track that will get a lot of hits on the video replay button.

Currently on the road with Issues and set to hit the Slam Dunk Festival triple header this weekend, Hacktivist treat us to a view of the band’s life away from the road with their “Hate” video – which was filmed for a budget of £10! You can’t argue with that!

Another new band for Rock Sins’ ears and eyes this week come to us in the shape of Swedish metallers 100 Years, with their track “All Grey”. The video is incredibly varied, and is better seen than explained, so we suggest you watch it!

Lastly, a band we first discovered by accident at last years’ Download Festival (where they seriously impressed us), Purson have recently started to attract some serious mainstream attention. Their latest single and video, “The Window Cleaner”, is a typical trippy affair, and we wouldn’t expect anything less.

So there we have it once again, five bands and there can be only one winner. The choice is yours! The voting closes at 12pm on Wednesday the 1st of June.
