At the start of this month, Fearless Vampire Killers shocked their considerable fanbase by announcing the end of the band. Vocalist and guitarist Kier Kemp had decided to leave the band, and the rest of the band decided they could not go on (at least not in their current form) without him, and so “FVK” as they are regularly known announced they were calling it a day.

Now, Fearless Vampire Killers are giving their fans one last chance to dance. The date is October 30th and the location is The Underworld in London’s Camden Town. Fearless Vampire Killers have invited two bands who they have shared stages with many times over the years to join them on their final show; Post hardcore favourites Zoax and fellow Goths, Bristol natives Ashestoangels.

Here’s what FVK themselves have had to say about this one last show:

“It’s always difficult knowing how to close the book on something that was so important. Despite various emotions involved, we all agreed that we wanted to do the best by our fans and a fitting farewell was what was needed. So we’ll be doing this one show – with Kier too – at the Underworld in Camden. We can’t think of a better place than this as it’s been home to so many great shows for us! Expect an emotional and hopefully fun night all round complimented by the brilliant supports, all chosen by us from bands that have played a big part in our story. See you there!” – FVK

Tickets are on sale now to members of Fearless Vampire Killers’ own social network The Obsidian Bond, and will go on general sale at 9am on Friday 29th July through Live Nation at https://www.livenation.co.uk/artist/fvk-tickets. Tickets are likely to go VERY quickly so do not miss this one last chance to see FVK in the flesh.
