It’s time for some new bands to join Enter Shikari on the Slam Dunk Festival 2017 line up!
Topping off the new additions fresh from their respective tours with Steel Panther and Bring Me The Horizon are pop punk royalty Bowling For Soup and indie-rock favourites Don Broco. Both bands were wow’ing arenas on their special guest slots with Steel Panther and Bring Me The Horizon and they’ll both be looking to impress the fans in Leeds, Birmingham and Hatfield in Slam Dunk. Bowling For Soup in particular are looking forward to it, as it’s their first time at the festival. Here’s frontman Jaret Reddick’s thoughts:
“We are so excited to be back in the UK at Slam Dunk Fest for the first time! This has the makings of a day we will all never forget!!”
Alongside those two bands are a Ska double act first brought together by Slam Dunk back at the 2011 festival and have been reunited for another double dose; It can only be Reel Big Fish and Less Than Jake!
Lastly this time around, two emo favourites will be playing albums in full. WeTheKings and Cute Is What We Aim For will be returning to Slam Dunk and will be performing WeTheKings (self-titled) and The Same Old Blood Rush With a New Touch from start to finish respectively.
Tickets for Slam Dunk Festival 2017 are on sale now from the official festival website. Stay tuned for further line up announcements here at Rock Sins!
