With our ears are still ringing from this year’s phenomenal 25th anniversary weekend. The organisers over at Bloodstock have wasted no time whatsoever in getting next year’s festival off to a flying start. Announcing all three headliners for Bloodstock 2027. As well as two dozen world class reasons to book yourself a ticket to Catton Hall next summer!
Topping the bill on Friday there’s Danish occult metal legends, Mercyful Fate. Followed by Electric Callboy, who will be bringing the EDM party to the Ronnie James Dio stage on Saturday night. Then, last but by no means least, there’s gothic metalcore giants Motionless in White. Who will be closing out the main stage on Sunday night with a UK exclusive show.
Chris Motionless had this to say about the announcement-“Bloodstock! We were told that we are one of the most requested bands to perform at your legendary festival, so it is with great honour to announce that we are answering the call and will be seeing you next year for our first ever European festival headlining show, and only U.K. show of 2027! Thank you so much! Let the countdown begin.”

That’s not all though! On top of three brand new headliners, Bloodstock fans can also look forwards to the likes of Children of Bodom, Devildriver, Madball, Sylosis, Corrosion of Conformity, Acid Bath and even cartoon metal legends Dethklok. Who will be making the jump from screen to the Sophie Lancaster stage. With a full list of all twenty-seven artists on next year’s already stacked bill available to check out below!

While we’re sure that debates are probably already raging in comments sections around the internet about how “metal” a band needs to be to headline Bloodstock. We for one welcome our new German techno overlords. And given the festivals reputation for elevating new talent to the headline spot, we think this announcement is one of the most exciting yet.
We clearly aren’t the only ones thinking that either. With early bird tickets to next year’s event having sold out on day one! Don’t worry if you missed out on early bird access though. Standard weekend camping tickets, including early entry passes for those that want to get every possible moment of next year’s Bloodstock experience are on sale now.
For a full rundown of everything going on at next year’s Bloodstock you can head over to the festival’s official website. If you want to stay up to date on any forthcoming announcements we recommend giving them a follow on social media too.
In the meantime, keep an eye out for our full review of this year’s Bloodstock which is coming soon!
