The Survival Code have announced they will do a one off, special show to celebrate the release of their début album MMXV. The launch party is happening on 16th July at the Camden Barfly, London. The Survival Code will be co-headlining the event with Sal Vitro (who are also launching their new album at the event) with support from Heman Sheman. Tickets are available from ticketweb for the bargain price of £5.95.
The show will be the world’s first chance to hear songs from MMXV before it is released worldwide the following day on the 17th of July 2015. MMXV was produced by John Merriman of Crown Lane studios and mastered by Matt Hyde (Slipknot, Machine Head, Funeral for a Friend). The Survival Code vocalist Gary McGuinness comments:
“Music is a form of storytelling, and it’s my job to make that story captivating”
The Survival Code bridge the gap between old and contemporary rock music, citing a diverse range of influences including Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Taking Back Sunday, Twin Atlantic, The Beatles and Jonny Cash.
